Workshop Description Maltese Wine and Chocolate pairing is a guided chocolate and wine tasting experience at Malta Chocolate Factory in Bugibba, Malta, designed for adults aged 18 and over. This one‑hour tasting experience celebrates Malta’s unique winemaking heritage through a curated selection of four local wines, including those made from the island’s indigenous Girgentina and Ġellewża grapes. Each wine is paired with handcrafted Maltese chocolates, specially chosen to complement and enhance the flavours in every glass. With five different chocolates to explore, guests enjoy a guided journey into the world of Maltese wine and artisan chocolate — all in a relaxed setting in the heart of St Paul’s Bay. What happens during the experience? During this guided tasting, you’ll sample four Maltese wines, each thoughtfully paired with a handmade chocolate truffle or praline. Our hosts will introduce every pairing, explaining how the flavours interact and why certain chocolates elevate specific wine characteristics. How long does it last? Approximately 1 hour. Is it suitable for kids? No. This experience includes wine tasting and is suitable for guests aged 18 and above. Do I need experience? No. Whether you're a seasoned wine enthusiast or simply curious about Maltese wine and chocolate, this experience is designed to be enjoyable and accessible for everyone. How big are the groups? We accept groups of up to 15 participants at a time. We can also accommodate larger groups of up to 45 people for team-building events and similar occasions, but these must be arranged in advance by contacting us first. Where is it held?
