Marketing/Sales and Commuications Manager

Job Role
Corporate

Contact corporate clients via email, telephone, face-to-face and make them aware of our products and get them to buy our products for employee training days, gifts and rewards, clients, VIPs, etc.

Corporate include large corporates, gaming companies, financial and accounting services, embassies, government departments.

Consider new market groups under the “corporate” banner.
Resellers
-
Keep contact with our resellers (via phone, email, newsletter, face-to-face) and get them to consider taking more product and expanded range.

Find new resellers who meet our criteria.

Consider point-of-sale marketing items to improve visibility of our range (subject to
cost/benefit analysis).
Agents
-
Establish a list of agents who sell our events on a commissioned basis.Tour Guides and Cruises
• Get our event products listed as destination events for tour operators and cruise lines.
Weddings
-
Help establish a set of branding, marketing materials, products to enter this market.

Advertise/market to this market.
Special Occasions
• Work with management team to understand and contribute to our product offering for special occasions (eg Easter, Mother’s Day, Christmas) and develop and execute marketing campaigns to suit our various clients (shop, corporate, reseller, etc).
Product Development

Contribute to management planning to understand new products, packaging, options we might add or remove to improve our overall offering to our various client base.

Help with the design of product labelling and promotional materials for new and existing product lines.
Marketing Manager – Malta Chocolate Factory (MCF)
Socials and Website

Keep socials (Instagram, Facebook, TripAdvisor, Google mainly) up-to-date with regular targeted posts.

Respond to enquiries that are not events enquiries.

Respond to review entries.

Keep website up-to-date including posting blogs, refreshing pages, updating store items,
pictures, to reflect our online store total range.
CRM
-
Establish and maintain a CRM (with other MCF staff involved in marketing) so that we start to record our clients and our interactions with them so that we can use advanced functions like tasks, auto-email, etc to better manage our interaction with all our clients and improve conversion.

Must have Management Experience and proven Sales track record for 5 years +

Retail Assistant
This position is responsible for the customer facing interaction in the shop and café. It involves serving customers, selling products, café items including cakes, pastries, coffees, other drinks. The role ensures that the shop and café are well maintained with food and hygiene handling regulation. It also involves handling of all payments using both the POS and EPOS. All this is to be carried out in an atmosphere that puts the customer at the centre of the interaction, and requires staff to be happy, friendly and approachable.
Casual/flexible hours may be available for students or people with family commitments.
