SCHOOL’S OUT! - TOP 5 MCF ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS THIS SUMMER

School’s out for the summer! The kids are off school and needless to say, you’d all love to do something that keeps them happy while also putting your mind at rest that they are having a great time in a supervised environment while you are free to do some needed shopping or grabbing a coffee with the bestie.

These ideas from the Malta Chocolate Factory are designed to keep kids from getting bored and to create memories that they'll have for a lifetime (or at least for that first day of school when they're asked "what did you do this summer?").

Junior Chocolatier Class - Make your own chocolate to take home!

In a 60 minute Junior Chocolatier Class held in our ‘parent free zone’, children aged 6 – 12 years can learn from our chocolatiers how to make their very own chocolate creations.

The entrance price includes personalised badge, chef’s hat and apron, graduation certificate plus each participant gets to take home three of their own chocolate creations to enjoy.

Chocolate Discovery Class - fun for the whole family!

This one hour hands on Chocolate Discovery Class is filled with an abundance of chocolate and truffle tastings, the chance to learn about how chocolate is made and inspiration behind each of our specialty ranges with our Chocolatiers.

Your chocolate education concludes with the chance to create your own personal chocolate bar and delve in giant lollipop making fun.

Our iconic Chocolate Fountain on a Sunday Morning

If you’re looking to satisfy your cravings on the spot, the factory offers soothing chocolate drinks and treats from the chocolate fountain for you to savor. You’re kids will love dipping marshmallows and assorted goodies into the fountain, and what a way to keep them entertained while you’re sharing the local gossip over an iced coffee!

School Outings - tell your summer schools to bring you over!

We also have school visit events - where groups learn about chocolate - its history and manufacture. The information we share is able to be used in further school curriculum on geography, history, environment, science and manufacturing processes. To assist with this, we have also developed a learning resource booklet for use after a visit to continue the learning experience back in the classroom.

Kids Birthday Parties - ain’t no party like a Chocolate party!

Have a fun and different children’s birthday party at Malta Chocolate Factory. The children have the opportunity to make and colour their own chocolate treats. We also play games with plenty of prizes. Each child goes home with a goodie bag filled with chocolate and sweet treats.

During the party we supply finger food and soft drinks for the children.

For an additional fee you can include special performers and acts. Ask us for more details.
